It came as half filled in a plastic spray bottle so maybe it evaporated some, but it had a really sweet opening and the drydown was just like the EDP. On fragrantica it's explained as a more mature version of Y EDP, but I think the drydown is quite mature enough.Y EDP is a strong fragrance, and your mind will get used to the smell. If I want a frag to stand out more, I spray two sprays on the spot instead of one. But bear in mind, with Y EDP, you'll be obnoxiously smelly (in a good way) in confined spaces.

Hello friends, I am a big fan of the Y lineup from YSL. I own every Y fragrance, exept for the new 2022 Eau de Toilette release, because it’s not available yet where I live. So in the meantime I just want to know which is your personal favorite, and I also want to know what you think about the Y lineup as a whole.Still an incredible fragrance that is considered a staple in every man's collection. I consider YSL Y EDP, Bleu De Chanel, and Dior Sauvage as the 3 holy trinities of blue fragrances. Though I prefer the YSL Y Le Parfum, it is just mind-blowing.You smell the Y DNA but between the edt, edp, parfum and intense this smells most different. I thought I’d like it because I wanted something more mature but after a few wearing I’m not a fan. It does what it sets out to do - make a mature flanker - at the cost of a less cohesive fragrance that lacks personality.

For me Y EDP is a great 'playful' casual blue scent. It doesn't take itself too seriously like BDC or Sauvage. It's a high quality scent and nothing really compares to it in my opinion besides the whole blue genre. I'm not really a huge designer-compliment-sexy-fragrance fan but when I like that sort of scent I have been gravitating to Y EDP.
The EDP is much more linear imo. I think the EDT is more interesting than the EDP. The EDP is apple flavored cotton candy. It doesn't really change at all. The EDT starts with bright citrus and changes a bit over time. The EDP lasts longer for sure but I don't think it's more interesting. I think Le Parfum is the most interesting out of the bunch.
